Top 10 most wanted children's toys

Christmas is the busiest time for Santa. That’s why, for 54 years, Royal Mail has helped him with his post.

Royal Mail's special elves take letters from children all around the country and send them on to the North Pole. For the last few years they’ve also kept a record of the most wanted toys for Christmas.

Some, like Lego, appear every year. Others, like One Direction goodies, are more passing trends. Whatever the year, this is a unique record of what children want most for Christmas.

So read on and see how many you remember. And don't forget to check back here later to see the list of best Christmas toys 2018!
